Old Mill Road – Third Level Roof Deck: Behind the Build
This final stage needed careful coordination within strict constraints—step-downs, gutter and slab falls, ceiling heights, stair landings, door clearances and height-to-boundary limits. With a bay window below, the structure combined cantilevered concrete beams, masonry and steel.
Detailed analysis of block heights, beam heights and slab levels let us set levels early and keep subcontractors aligned. Concrete sequencing was also key, deciding how beams, in-situ slabs and toppings were poured while meeting inspections.
A clear understanding of the plans kept everything on track.
